Nusrat is the most dazzling star of Qawwali. An ardent traditionalist and interpreter of Soufi music. Nusrat has without doubt produced the best contemporary interpretation of Qawwali, the religious chanting song emanating from the belief and amoreuse ardour of the 'Soufi's".
Following his performances at the theatre De La Ville in Paris during the early nineties and his enthusiastic promotion by his French record label, Orcas Radio France, Nusrat's popularity spread throughout Europe.
