This book is about the famous 40 drum rudiments. The goal is to discover the forty fundamental rudiments of the Percussive Arts Society (P.A.S.), applying them at first on the snare drum and then on the drum set.

This book is also meant to be of great support to every teacher, facilitating the study and the practice of their own students with play-along music tailored on each rudiment. A custom audio track is available online for each rudiment. A total of forty tracks arranged to follow rhythmically and harmonically each rudiment, even following the sticking. Each rudiment is also explored over the entire drum set, to apply and give context to what was previously analyzed on the snare drum. The “Rudimental tour” is a crucial section of this book: here you’ll be able to test yourself through a musical tour comprising all the forty rudiments.
